We met in late 2004, and Jer's love for his Rottweiler mix "Scooby" was one of the qualities that I found so appealing. I had already been involved in the dog world for quite a few years before Jer and I met, with AmStaff Terriers as well as my Chihuahuas, so I was thrilled to finally meet someone who could share my interests and passion. We moved in together in July 2005 and Jer has helped and supported me with breeding/showing/training and all my other dog endeavors.

In June 2007 I graduated, with honours, from the Animal Sciences program from Penn Foster, with special focus on Cynology & Theriogenology. Prior to that I took a year of Chemical Engineering, to major in MacroBiology, at Cambrian College. After graduation in 2007 I went to work for the Simcoe Animal Clinic, and then, the Ostrander Veterinary Clinic in Tillsonburg. My positions at both clinics helped me continue my education by providing hands on experience with all aspects of dogs and their care.

I have also studied dog Obedience, Training and Behaviour under auspices of 4 different professional trainers, with special focus on Behavior and Canine Aggression, and I occasionally teach dog obedience privately.

I currently work on the management team at a leading Canadian Pet Food & Supply chain store where I am continuously updating my knowledge in Animal Nutrition and Dog Training.

Jer and I purchased our current home in 2010, which is a dog's dream as well as ours. Located on 2 acres nestled in the middle of beautiful farmland, no one could ask for better! Our 1500 sq/ft home is designed for dogs, and even has a "Dog Room" and 2 fully fenced yards!

Jer and I had both owned Rottweilers or Rottweiler mixes prior to meeting, and we purchased our first Rottweiler together in 2007... and the rest is history!!
